At Sheer Cinematic, we’re not just a team that turns up, films the day and leaves. We’re a close group of filmmakers and photographers who genuinely enjoy what we do, and that shows in the work.

Every year, we try to push things further, better cameras, better lighting, better sound, stronger editing, cleaner colour, sharper photography and a more cinematic finish. We’re proud of the films and photos we create, and we always want each wedding to feel like a step forward.

But after capturing hundreds of Asian weddings, we also know there has to be a balance.

​

It’s easy to focus only on making everything look cinematic, but a wedding isn’t a styled shoot. It’s a real day, with real people, real moments and family members who matter. The ceremony, the speeches, the couple shoot, the dancing, the parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins and friends, all of it plays a part in how the day is remembered.

​

That’s why we don’t lose sight of the important family moments while trying to make the film look impressive. A wedding film can look incredible, but if the people closest to you are missing, it hasn’t done its job properly.

Our packages are built around that balance. The shorter highlights film gives you something cinematic, emotional and easy to share, while the longer documentary-style film gives you a fuller record of the day, including more of the ceremony, speeches, family moments and celebrations.

For us, the goal is to give you the best of both, films and photos that feel polished and cinematic, but still personal, natural and meaningful to the people who were there.
